Favorite Quote and Why: “The important thing is this, to be able to, at any moment, to sacrifice
who you are for what you are to become!” -Eric Thomas
- The reason this quote is so important for me is because it is a clear and concise description of
the mentality and direction to enable one to succeed. We have to be able to move past what we
are comfortable with to realize our true potential. Comfort and routine often shackles us from
moving forward to our best selves. However, we must be willing to sacrifice comfort and take the
risk to realize our dreams, goals and true potential. Success is consistent growth, minute by
minute, day by day. We must be willing to shed our old and comfortable ways to be able to
become who we truly want to be, and are capable of being.
